Estimates, not guarantees

The calculators on CandleBench are provided free of charge as planning tools. Results are estimates based on the figures you enter and on typical reference data for materials. They are not a guarantee of any particular outcome.

Wax, fragrance oil, wicks and vessels vary between manufacturers and between batches. Your supplier’s specification always takes precedence over the reference data used here, and no calculation replaces a real test burn.

No professional advice

Nothing on this site is safety certification, product compliance advice, legal advice, or financial or business advice. Requirements for candle labelling, fragrance classification, safety assessment and product liability differ by country, and it is your responsibility to establish what applies where you make and sell.

Candle safety

Candle making involves molten wax at high temperatures and finished candles involve an open flame. You are responsible for working safely and for the products you sell.
